Welcome to the sale of my 23 litre Acerbis long range petrol tank. This was purchased new by me to equip my TTR250 Yamaha for overland travel (see separate listing)
The tank is military spec which I am told is slightly stronger and thicker plastic than standard. It is a generic tank which can be made to fit several models of motorcycle by using appropriate brackets and mountings. Included in this sale are the brackets I used to mount this tank on my TTR250. With the tank fitted and full of petrol the bike behaves as standard-you really don't know anything is different, I have used this tank solely on road for nearly 10k miles with no issues -the standard seat fits really well with no modification at all-its just great not to think about where your next fuel up is .
I believe the tank can be fitted to Suzuki, Honda ,and obviously Yamaha models with basic skills and common sense, it is in very good condition whilst not unmarked from 11 years use any wear and tear is difficult to photograph being so minimal. I am asking £100 plus £10 p+p or collection is welcome of course from Mold North Wales.
