Ebc heavy duty clutch too heavy ?

A couple of years ago I fitted the ebc heavy duty cluch . I'm finding the lever pull too firm . Anyone tried going back to original springs with the new plates

Good question I thought about that as well . I replaced  the cable with a new one but no improvement.

Maybe I'm just getting a bit soft

I have a shorty lever so the extra pull would be more noticeable.  I think I may have partly answered my own question biggrin

But has anyone revered back to the standard springs ?

When I get some time, I am going to try some originals back in, I have the ebc at the moment.

I'm going to do the same . It's partly the pull but mostly I find I stall the bike more often on steep hills and tight trails as I lost the fine control on the clutch.

What about keeping the springs and changing clutch friction plates to a different material like kevlar?  I too have the EBC heavy duty clutch and spring replacement.  I find the friction point changes with temperature and is always a bit mushy.  I like the springs but am considering going with Barnett kevlar friction plates.  Anyone else tried different friction plates?
