I am trying to find a Headlight lens for a 2006 blue TTR 250

The one on the bike was broken and unable to read the number can any one tell me the number on it.

i have an old one that was in a light surround that i brought, it has the number 50R-0045965

I see that the German website below has this one, is it correct for a uk bike.

Also are the cheap Chinese  after market  front lights ok to use.

The one you show is street legal for Europe and so for the UK as well (E Number in the Glas). But there is nothing that stat to what model it fits AND, it is not availiable right now.
A cheap solution is always to go for a Polisport (or similar liek Acerbis ...) light mask, its cheep as well but it is not original then anymore. I add a picture of ours.

Just checked and the headlight on my blue TTR250 also has the number 50R-0045965 and I am 99% sure that it is an original.

You might find some useful information here.

Not that it helps much but the GILERA RC 600 R uses the same light unit!

Brian

PS If you decide to go with the Polisport then you should be able to rercoup some money by selling the headlight masks you have. They aren't avaialble new any longer.

Good hint TTRfan to offer the original Mask online, they are realy not availiable. I also agree that it is possible to get the original headlight over some month, it will appear sometimes somewhere and if it is in the TTR and in the Gilera, it is in other bikes as well for sure. Beside thsi there is also a no name plastic on Ebay offered for TT-R 250s, maybe this one fits to the original mounting points, the Polisport are mounted with some stripes, not with screws.

Thanks for the advice I think I will buy a polishport one and then keep an eye out for an original lens to turn up.
I got quite excited when I saw the German website showing them, then when I translated it it and realised they were no longer available. Must learn to keep away from large branches.😂😂

Thanks Steve, let me know if you have one. Do you know when you will be getting any polisport lights in.

The full plastic kit has a blue oe type headlight,  the mounting brackets would fit your bike
