Where to buy carb slide?

New to me 2003 TTR250, the carb slide is sticking half way open periodically.  After some reading  I understand the coating on the side starts to fail, which is the likely cause of this?  Does anyone know if I can just buy a new slide?  If so, from where and what is the part number?

Yamaha call the slide a VALVE, THROTTLE 1 - part number 4GY-14312-40

If you put the part number into Google then I am sure you will find a local supplier. However, the cost of the slide in the UK is silly expensive and I would look for an alternative if yours is causing problems e.g. a good used carb.

Awesome, thank you for the info! Looks like I can get one  shipped to my door for $80US… is that a decent price compared to a used carb?  Any leads on where to possibly source a good used carb?
