Hi all, I was supposed to be taking my direct access bike test a few months back, but covid happened and my theory expired, so now I'm waiting to take it again and re-book my DAS course.

I'm thinking of getting ttr250 anyway in the meantime as my workshop is on a farm where i can ride around a bit and get used to a bike in advance.

I'd really like a raid - had my eye on a couple on Ebay but one was tatty and the other seemed really expensive. Any tips on what would be a fair price for a raid in decent condition?

Welcome to the forum Matt biggrin

You are lucky to have some private land to ride on. I saw on the BBC News yesterday that driving lessons and test are about to restart which is good news.

Can't help with a Raid - sorry. They are increasingly sought after these days so, if you see one advertised at a sensible price, snap it up quick!

It is worth checking out your local trail riding groups on FaceBook or search for a forum. The local TRF guys might be able to help. Also, watch Gumtree.

Good luck!

Brian

TTR is a great bike to learn on and inspire confidence .

I have taught  3 people to ride on mine and they found it real easy to get going on .

Buy one you cant go wrong .
