Starts one km from home on the blacktop to the dirt through one area that was burnt couple of years ago.

Thought I could show the area near where we live, we are right on the edge of the burbs in the Adelaide hills

Another video, at the 43second mark is where I broke my leg on the XR400 in 2007, gravel roads then a dry weather road or summer track as we call them, you might think of them as a green lane?

Nice videos Terry but that track is way more civilised than our green lanes - no mud and brambles in sight biggrinbiggrin

Over in NSW they have Lanta or something like that a form of bramble or ivy with torns, you are correct we have nothing like the muddy lanes thank god, perhaps that's why the bike still looks ok LOL, it's the rider that's old & tired

Another video from today on the TTR, I used a helmet I've not used in5 yrs & a non gopro camera that I've used once, on the gopro I set the video to 4:3 at 960, that way I get sky & bike/ ground but camera was set to widescreen & 1080, a little too narrow & only just made the cut.

video has a great soundtrack.Sounds like bike is powered by Mad max. Is there no chance of a car or tractor coming around the bend at that speed.

Staintune slip-on muffler with the DB killer insert, it is legal @ 94db

Always on the lookout for cars, tractors or other bikes, when it's dry you can see the dust but to be honest kangaroos are more of a problem

Just went back & listened to the sound ( I edited & uploaded from the laptop with the sound off ) I think the sound quality is rubbish, I fitted the open rear door on the camera  & the wind noise & exhaust are not to my liking, I think the gopro is better but one of my gopro external battery is not good, it has a piggy back battery giving me the battery life. Not cheap to replace it, I have 3 x gopro's  SD with AAA batteries..don't use this at all now, Gopro HD with piggy back wifi remote...use it sometimes, Gopro 3 with external piggy back battery, screen etc. I can use the HD & 3 together with the remote but it's hit & miss.

The camera I used yesterday was a cheap sports camera off ebay, came with a case, 2nd battery, screen & remote for approx. $50au where the gopro 3 was around $350 plus the piggy back battery $80au, screen $80au, case $50au....now they are up to the Gopro 8.

I don't tend to do many videos ATM so don't know I will update anytime soon, I have done a couple with an external mic. & talking...might go that way

Terry

Wife comes home Thursday & said it's our lucky day, I asked why, she drives the blacktop in this video every day on the way to work & where I turned to the right toward the dirt she goes left & over the crest of the hill where she met a motorcycle cop, he did a U turn & pulled her over, Madam any reason for speeding, NO she replied, do you know you were doing 93kph in a 80 zone, well no sir. Anyhow he let her off with a warning...got to say her series 7 Golf is very easy to speed in & I never get off with a warning

"Anyhow he let her off with a warning...got to say her series 7 Golf is very easy to speed in & I never get off with a warning" Its been said there will never be justice until a man can flash his tits and wink at the judge to get alimony.

"Over in NSW they have Lanta or something like that a form of bramble or ivy with torns,    ........." a.k.a. 'wait awhile'.

Thank god for bark busters. Pre-bark busters if wait awhile flicked your clutch or front brake, you were down in a hurry.

you are correct we have nothing like the muddy lanes thank god,

Spoken as a crow eater - we don't have that issue in God's Country......
