Hi, I'm Steak,

Bought my first TTR earlier this year and I'm smitten with it. I needed a lightweight bike due to a few medical gremlins and this suits me just fine. I mainly scratch around the country lanes of Staffordshire and it always puts a smile on my face. Like myself, the bike has a few gremlins to sort out and I relish the opportunity to get them sorted.

Welcome to the forum Steak.

I like mine medium to well done! biggrin

If ever you come to Devon (the UK Trail paradise) you may need a bit lumpier rubber on your wheels.

As for sorting bike gremlins there's a stack of info on this site and people who can explain the "how to do it". smile

Enjoy it, and look after yourself - and machine.

Martyn

Thanks Brian,

I've already followed the advice on your post re: removing and inspecting the starter motor. Most informative and helpful. Thank you.

It's good to know that there's help and advice available.

Steak.

Thanks Martyn,

It's good to be part of the online community. Devon is a beautiful county. I'm lucky to have a DR dirt bike for off-road and my beloved XJ for the black stuff. My TTR is a perfect in-between. I'm happy to hear that I can get some specialists advice in getting into A1 condition.

Cheers,

Steak.
