Is anyone running one of the Air Filter Cages shown below?

They would appear to be less restrictive than the Yamaha original, what are the pro’s and con‘s?

Haven't seen or tried one . 

The idea of the original one is to protect the filter from back fires.

Don't think it would help in the HP stakes, the OEM cage will also support the filter better
