Hi guys, I'm Jeff, new to this site, and live in Colorado. Looked through some Threads, and looks to be a great bunch here. Our family rides quite a bit here, so we ended up with this 2005 TT-R250 that no can get to run, so I think I'm going to monetize my investment, and start parting this thing out. My plan is to start posting individual pieces, with what I can ascertain to be a fair price plus shipping. I have the seat as well. Thanks for having me!

I share your frustration but these are simple and increasingly rare bikes that should run forever with proper care. This forum has a lot of great wisdom and I'm sure that you can figure out why it won't run.
You need spark, fuel, and compression. Spark can be frustrating because there are multiple components in the ignition system and its easiest to test if you have a running bike and can swap components.
It is sad to see so many TTR's get parted out on Ebay. They are becoming increasingly difficult to find in good condition.
Thanks for the reply guys. I should have been more clear, I was leery of the project bike initially, and it was disclosed that it didn't run, but the price reflected that fact, so I took a chance. Turns out there was a mystery electrical issue that someone felt required hacking the harness in multiple places for. We tried numerous things to get spark, nothing. ECM maybe? My mechanic buddy also said there's no real compression, whatever's causing that. So the project is more then I want to tackle; I'm more then willing to sell it as is, , but that's highly unlikely, and I thought this was a good way to "contribute" and help out fellow riders who need these parts, and also that this is probably the only real way to get it out of my yard, ha. Thanks.
Cylinder head, forks, wheels, fuel tank, will be worth quite a bit and you will probably get your money back on just them, the rest will be money in the bank
Good luck and if you find a better one, come back and visit us
Forgot, has it a kicker? the kicker alone would be worth £200 gbp!

Yep, sorry about that, imported from iCloud, and it only brought over the thumbnails. I'll redownload and repost better detailed pics of the whole bike.
Hi guys.
I've pretty much stripped the bike down, and will post the remaining parts individually as I have done so far. I'm negotiable on the prices, but still need to monetize my investment. The individual parts I've listed in the For Sale section have been there a few weeks with no activity, so I'll start to post those on eBay. New parts will go here exclusively, then on to eBay in the same fashion. Thanks, and let me know if you need anything.
