I mentioned in another post that I was in the process of resurrecting a blue TTR after some years of storage. I am almost at the point of starting it but on refitting the starter noticed some marks in the larger of the two gears that sit under the round cover. I have attached a picture of the indentations in the larger of the two gears. All the rest look unmarked and in fine condition.
Are these marks normal are an indication that there is something amiss out of sight?
