Rear end tidy up on my blue TTR
Permalink

Hi.

Thought I'd show you some pics of my coronavirus tinkering. Since I can't ride the trails I thought it an excellent opportunity to stop the rust taking over the back of my TTR. Had it not been for lockdown I'd probably not have bothered as I prefer to be out riding on a day off than being off the road because of maintenance. Rear of frame was really suffering with rust. So stripped it down to bare metal. Covered in Kurust and resprayed. It's a long way from perfect but I've stopped the rust getting worse and tidied her up a bit. Fabricated a better number plate holder today too. Not done any spraying before so steep learning curve, far from perfect but much tidier
