The original 44 tooth rear sprocket was removed before the ttr left the dealer new I still have the 44 tooth sprocket never used it any feed back I have a few long days planned 

Always had a 48 on the back

I still have a 44 on the rear but swapped the front from a 14T to a 13T when I fitted a 120-90 x 18 D606 & we did some steep hills, I have since refitted the 14T but I am running a 12-80 x 18 tyre again as I'm using the TTR on dirt roads & easy trails / summer tracks.
