Fork oil seal job (first time)

I love this forum as it appears a great number of you are in the UK. I'm getting ready to tackle my fork seals on my 99 TTR. I have the factory service manual specific for my model. It's a 250(L)C, a California trail model that got a conversion kit. There's very few of these on the road here in the US...and I like that! I need guidance as far as doing the fork oil seal job. Can any of you lend a suggestion or two please?
