I am working up a Yamaha tt-350 1990 model and need a front master brake cylinder kit. None in country parts have got to come from Japan 2-3 week wait kit is (5VK-25807-00) and cost $83 AUD Does any one know of a place that supplies just the 2 x cup seals, as these are the parts that would do the job.?
Otherwise ebay dare I ask have replacement, would these do the job anyone bought a replacement like theses (only $27)
If you search on the part numbers of the different Yamaha models you will most likely find that there is a lot of parts shared across the models. Cycle parts warehouse or CSM will have the part numbers for the models.. Search on bikes around the same production year as your own and go from there. As an example i have a 1996 Yamaha WR 200 two stroke and the brake pads front and rear are the same as the ones fitted to the TTR. It does require searching to find out these things to see what is used across the range as i think that there was some identical parts used to save the few bob in production. The same starter is used on the Yamaha Majesty 250, just change the back plate and i think it also uses the same sprag and and a couple of other bits.

Thanks I've done a fair bit of cross referencing with the part number, how ever as you rightly say the parts will be common, but they don't give sizes etc to be certain of matching parts If covid-19 wasn't so troubling I would try some shops
IE if I knew the Seals sizes on the piston I could buy them and the problem would be fixed
