Catching up on a job or two
Permalink

So the starter has been down part time on the TTr for 2 + years works when it wants to on the button its the starter brushes sticking/us how much do I have to strip down to fit a new set of brushes on the starter motor

This is a Job I can do in the next week or two with all this time I have. The panheads on the bench at the moment carb rebuild and some porting work so ok for a week I been putting this job off for to long if it did not have the kicker I would have just dun it when it first played up

Well done Martyn!

It would be good to hear from other members about jobs they have completed that have been waiting for a long time biggrin

I’ve finally got round to welding up a pannier rack, done one side, and the only way I can think of matching up both sides is using two threaded rods. Not sure how will do back brace yet. Enjoying it out in the sun though taking my time doing welds that are ‘good enough’. Will get it powder coated eventually.

I should add that my skills have limits so I bought the bare frames without issue from Barrett in Oz :

www.barrettproducts.com.au/store/p273/Bare_Hoops.html

And 18mm x 2mm mild steel tubing and 5mm flat bar from UK eBay.
