I've been noticing some jitter from my handlebars when riding off-road. Front wheel bearing is fine. One of the shocks also has a bit of a squeak and both feel a bit soft.
Is this jitter indicative of leaking seals? It has done 30k km at least so i wouldn't be surprised.

do the cheap optiom first new seals new oil once stripped you may find broken spring set them up as standard 7 ride it you may find its ok then set them up to your liking john
I wasn't aware that the oil breaks down. I'll go do a thorough check for leaks. If I cannot see any leak then I'll just replace the oil and see if that fixes it.
Thanks for the advice!

They way it was explained to me is the polymer chains in the oil being forced through the valves brake down over time loosing it's effectivness .your may still have the original oil which may be well past it's use by . If so it may have quite a bad odour when flushing it out.
