Hi there, 

I split my crankcases today and noticed a crack, I dknt think there is any issue really but I'm not 100% sure. Can I have your opinions please?

 

I guess worst case I could get it tig welded or something?

Can't make it out on the photo. Sometimes there are casting marks that look like cracks 

Maybe another photo might help

Do you mean the gap under the rectangular shaped thing? Looks like it matches the other side so probably meant to be like that. Brian prob has some split cases he might take a look at, unless someone else gets there first...
