hello,

just bought a ttr250 for my 16 year old and going in to check valve clearance I noticed both of the left side cam caps broke.

 

anyone have any for sale?

Might be worth making a jig to hold the bits together and get them TiG welded as a short term measure. Just check they're not too tight on the cam when bolted back on.

Hi just started machining one of these from solid aluminium if it goes ok will make a few more, seems like a common problem.

people might have to put mechanics blue on cam fit them & check for high spots & scrape them to fit the origional ones will be line bored
