In two weeks I will be riding Thailand , Cambodia . Loas for 3 weeks..

Fly out on Sunday the 14 July... I booked everything in Feb  then it

seemed so far away.... all of a sudden the time is here...

fly to Bangkok then to Khon Kean in northern Thailand where I pick up the bike..

Unfortunately no one hires TTRs ..

So it either a CRF250L or KLX250.. didn't want anything big as I want to stay of the 

sealed roads as much as possible...

I've never been but read lots about intrepid riders having adventures and good times.

Go for it, but don't take risks, riding a bike there is dangerous enough. biggrin

Sounds great, I did the same in Cambodia on a xr250, you'll have so much fun and may even miss the rainy season?:)

that was fun.... didn't get into Cambodia...Only Loas and Thailand..
planning going back next year around March/April do Cambodia and Vietnam..
I really need a better GPS next time...
Spent the first 2 weeks riding based in Khon Kaen northern Thailand..
Then went down to Bangkok and Pattaya for the last week...
Will never never drive a car around Bangkok again...

 in only took my jacket and a pair of shorty motor bike boots...
rode in jeans and jacket with a tee shirt under it..
Any more is just to hot most days were 35c plus...
I bought a open face helmet with visor there... cost 370bahts = under $20NZ..
The last 3 days I hired a Yamaha 125 scooter in Khon Kaen.. I rode in tee shirt and shorts...
