Well the TTR still looks pretty good, I've had it for 5 years now, it still runs great.

Took it around the block yesterday, 1st time I've ridden since breaking my ankle 7 weeks ago, riding is ok but stopping is still an issue or should I say supporting the bike on tip toes with my right leg is not good.

She is still in good condition with 18,750kms on the clock

Cheers Terry

I still have a pin in my lower right leg so the movement was a little restricted before I broke my ankle, have not worn the moonboot for just over a week & can walk ok in sneakers with a limp.

Seeing the Doctor after work tomorrow, hope he's not cranky with me not wearing the moonboot !!!

Terry

Silly me I've had the TTR for 6yrs not 5yrs, anyhow back from the Doctor, he said it's healing pretty well & I should ditch the moonboot, I had to admit to not wearing the moonboot for 10 days. After the look of disapproval he agreed & said to let nature take it's course ( does that mean go kill yourself on the bike)

Turns out to be another spiral fracture, my broken leg was also a spiral fracture...really should learn to lift my feet, must be a slow learner.

Been checking out new boots that will give more protection.... but in saying that I broke my leg wearing MX boots back in 2007

Cheers Terry
