Shock mount confusion..

Anyone know how to mount these shocks on a bike?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YSS-Duo-Rear-Shock-Adj-TD220-340P-02-X-Vespa-GTS-300-Touring-2012-2013/302943066291?hash=item4688d058b3:g:tu8AAOSwv-xb28sb

They appear to have a threaded bolt at the top, rather than a bushing as I would expect.. can you get adapters or something?

Look like car shockers. If so, they fit on a plate with a hole in, with 1 rubber doughnut bush either side, tightened down with the nut. (If rubber doughnuts is what the black bits at the end in question are!)

Could maybe make a clevis bracket to mount them more traditionally.

They probably mount through a strengthened bit of body panel on a Vespa?

Thanks mossproof! Seems like a weirdly small amount of thread to do that with but interesting to hear how that is how cars do it.

Think I'm probably better off looking for 340mm shocks that have eyelets at both ends!

You don't necessarily need an eyelet at the bottom, as you could screw on the bottom bracket, No2 in the picture from your old shock, hence the turn it upside down.....See
