As I have just explain in my presentation, I bought a 93's TTR250 last saturday and I m starting to check the parts which need to be replace. The first one is the rubber pipe between the carburator and the cylinder;, it is completely worn and probably creates an air leak wich can explain why the engine is getting so hot.
I had a look on internet and you can find a new one at Yamaha for 50 £ or a chinese one for 8£; has someone got any fedback about the chinese one?
thank you

Sometimes the Chinese ones are moulded upsidedown, and sometimes they don't stay in one piece for long, but for that price it might be worth the gamble to get the bike running right and you can spend more on the proper Yam part when you have fallen in love with your TTR.
