Hi Brad

Digital speedo head units rarely fail. The usual cause of them not working is that the Hall sensor in the pick up has failed.

If that checks out then check all the connectors next. If they all check out then I am sorry but I don't know anyone that an repair the head units no

Loads of information here

Me again!

If your speedo head is kaput but your sensor is working then you could sell your sensor and think about a GPS speedo?

There are a lot more modern bits of Chinese kit avaialble but the older Road Angel 7000 GPS/Satnav has proved to be a solid reliable bit of kit. It would need a reduced voltage power supply (same as a mobile phone) but would provide an accurate speed reading using GPS satellite signals.  It could also provide road navigation and, if set up by "one who knows these things", it could also load routes to follow and provide tracklogs whilst showing OS mapping on screen wink
