There is something artistic about black and white photos.

Maybe it‘s because they are not as we see the scene ourselves.

Very evocative pictures and scenery. I think monochrome leaves it to your imagination and improves the effect.

A bit of colour looks out of place doesn't it?

And a bonus - they are all the right way up. biggrin

Colouring made me think of a very famous South African artist called Pierneef; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacobus_Hendrik_Pierneef

And yes Jeff, there is just "something" about black and white indeed - it just immediately seems to make the photos look "timeless". Well, particularly the last 3.

That first photo of the two kids on the TTR could be from the 50’s or 60’s but obviously the TTR was only a twinkle in Mr. Yamaha’s eye at that time.

And on that photo, that is actually part of Table Mountain peaking out above the hedge - Devils Peak as it is known, the eastern buttress.
