Out for a very nice if slippery run on Sunday. A lot of rain previously meant our loverly chalk base was coming through the mud at times although the only tumble I had was of course mid puddle. Good to be out although my bike was involved in a near fatal stabbing which Salisbury police are aware of confuse   DSC01654 by herman munster, on Flickr DSC01652 by herman munster, on Flickr

Well done for getting out Allen, especially in the changeable weather we are having. It makes planning ahead a tad difficult hmm

You have teased us with the mention of a stabbing incident. Are you able to tell us just a tiny bit more?

Brian

Is this a report on the stabbing?

CLICKY

If so then the report says the stabber was only defending himself from two burglars. bleh

Johny, in the olden days we never had an option - they were part and parcel of the internet and we accepted them blindly.

Nowadays, because users asked the question you just posed, it is a requirement that an option to NOT have them is given.

The laws say that you can OPT OUT of accepting cookies, but if you do then the supplier doesn't give you everything - it's a choice they have to offer.

If you accept them then it's a good idea to once in a while spend some time clearing them all off your computer to free it up a bit - remove all the stored history of web visits too.

It's amazing how much is stored without you knowing it. History of site visits can go back months - a lot of hard disk space used up.

Think of it like doing a de-coke and speeding the system up.

That is a very old and now defunct operating system - it is no longer under development or maintenance.  disbelief

However, this article shows how to do it:-

You will have to re-install all your user names and passwords for any web sites you use so make a note of them before you clear them.

Hi Allen,

Looks great out on Salisbury plains.

Myself and my partner Anna are in Basingstoke and just started enjoying the green lanes around Winchester and Alresford.

Hampshire seems to be a great county for greenlaning. If you are local, maybe you'd like to go for a ride together? We would love to meet other local riders and Anna's TTR would like to tear it up alongside another TTR!l

Howard
