OK - so I didn't go far - just a few miles down the road to see my mate Jim 

The TTR250 I bought back along hadn't had any exercise for quite a while plus I had just fixed the Oxford Hotgrips (Premium Touring) and needed to test them out.

The temperature here in Devon, UK, was hovering just above freezing so it was a good day to test the heated grips and they were a life saver. I put them on max (5 settings) but that was much too hot and soon they were back to setting 2 which was perfectly adequate.

The grips are quite thick which will be fine for me as I am using the 250 as a road bike but, for offroad or trail riding use, I prefer the Symtec heated pads that fit under the standard grips.

The TTR ran really well so it was a successful first outing for 2019
