Noise after the engine is turned off
Permalink

Google translator Good day. My TTR I bought without an electric starter. The previous owner dismantled but I do not know what has remained in the engine. Now when I turn off the engine, for a few seconds I hear a noise like something else is spinning inside. Is it dangerous? Thank you. Greetings from the New Year.

Hi Tomasz!

If there is no starter motor fitted and Gear 3 is still behind the flywheel then my guess is that's what continues to spin when the engine is turned off.

I understand. Thank you. I don't know whether it is gear 3. Is not it harmful?

I do not know what's inside.
