Hi all ...  just moved here and love all the lanes .I ride a GS 1200 so you will all know i am on the wrong side of 60! I find the BM just great but quite heavy for these great back roads and thought a light weight trail bike would be good fun .What a great site !! with loads of info and advice .So anyone near me have a blue one with a standard or quiet pipe in presentable nick that they are ready to sell I just missed one yesterday and am keen to buy

Welcome, Richard.

When you get a bit more mature (cough), you will realise that anything above 350cc on a trail is rather unweildly to say the least.

What a BMW 1200 must be like is not in my imagination zone. no

I think your choice of a TTR250 is very good and I hope you have success in getting a good example, they are around. wink

Good luck in your search.

Martyn

Welcome to the forum Richard and I hope you find your TTR soon biggrin

What model/age TTR are you looking for and in what sort of budget range? That might help anyone here know whether they might have the TTR for you wink

Brian

Hi Brian
I think an 02/04 one can be had for 15/1600 pounds maybe ??
Thinking I want one for more road/lane use than pure off road really, like the look of the blue ones
Need quiet exhaust ,mirrors, indicators and a more road based tyre
Cheers
Richard
