Found a place you can purchase the rear shock that wont make you cry

I was looking into purchasing a new shock before I sent mine off for rebuild and found this in the process.  It's a different part number than the OE shock but looks identical.  Figured I throw this out there for those that are dealing with shock issues.

I spent roughly $400 getting a complete rebuild done on my shock (including a heavier rear spring) in the U.S.  So that price seems like a bargain for someone dealing with a pitted shaft or blown shock body.

Good link for customers overseas from me, as I can't send abroad. Don't forget there is VAT to add to the list price on the CMSL site.

But still cheaper here if you are in the UK https://totallyttrs.com/epages/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/699105d9-e4cc-4b32-b236-84e72cd67f84/Products/TTR-0680

I didn't realize you had them in the shop! Last time I looked they were out of stock. I wish you had some sort of affiliate over here in the states that we could order from as you really do have good prices but shipping hurts.

I attached my rebuild quote in case anybody was wondering what went into one.  Hygear out of NY did mine.  Slow turnaround but they have a fully equipped shop that can manufacture almost anything including shafts and shock bodies if need be.

If you are having trouble finding a seal head in the states Race Tech makes a 14 x 46 that works apparently.  The shock is a proprietary Yamaha Soqi.

Carver performance sells a rebuild kit for the seal head itself that is reasonable.  They also manufacture some parts that are impossible to get elsewhere such as the damping knob and needle.
