im looking into getting new side covers from a friend and he painted them. Would paint stripper damage the plastic or would it be fine? Also could power washing them take off the paint? Thanks.

you are better rubbing it down with 800 wet and dry then seal it then spray it in 2k 2 pack

I have used paint stripper on TTR side panels without any problems. You can always test some on the back of the panel if you are worried?

It's unlike that power washing would take off anything other than any flaking paint.
