I was doing a check over my bike and it looks like the previous owner put the chain roller in the wrong spot when installing the skid plates. Am I correct? Do I just unbolt it and put it below or are there washers That could be missing?
Agree - that looks right. Check the washers were put in the correct way around by spinning it - it won't turn if wrong

They are high and only come in contact with the chain near full suspension compression..
as the swing arm goes up past level (engine sprocket/ swing arm pivot/ rear axle) in line
the wheel is moving forward so the chain is getting loser... it then hits the roller to take
up some of the slack...
why people that do alot of jumps or have the bike heavly loaded tend to brake
them off now and then...
