I have for sale my own blue plastic tank TTR250

I bought the bike from Brian Sussex over 3 years ago and he had done a rebuild on the bike back then.

2004 with 12,000 miles on the clock.

It has the sought after kicker and electric start.

I have just had the bike Mot'd with no advisories. 

The work that I have done last week, making sure the bike goes out in tip top mechanical condition.

Brand new genuine Sprag clutch fitted, I did this just for peace of mind.

Fitted new front and rear discs

Fitted new front and rear pads

New lower shock bearing

Oil and filter change

New front sprocket and tab washer

Good rear sprocket and chain on the bike.

New front tyre

Nearly new rear MT43

 

Extra's on the bike

Bash plate

Wide stainless steel footpegs

Tail tidy

High Dakar bars

Frame guards

USB connector

Other than that the bike is standard, the engine sounds very sweet indeed 

The plastics are in the usual condition for a trail bike.

Any inspection welcome.

Hi John

No the TTR's will always be here to stay, but I need to do a complete rebuild on my old white TTR, that will in the end have the 350 kit and the Acerbis tank and the new panniers I am working on / on it.

And as I have bought a Wr250f that I will be doing parts for , so the totally brand will be here for a long time. I need to make some space in the garage, only room for 2 at the momentcry

Looks like a good deal!

Steve I think the handle works better on that stand if you flip it around 180 degrees so it's inline with the centre of the stand

a few days on eBay and deposit taken. I know the fees are crazy but got to be the best place to buy and sell??

If you put it up as a classified add then you just pay to advertise, which is about 10 quid I think..

Great to hear you have a sale Steve. You can spend all the money on the 350 build now eh? biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Gumtree also good for a local sale and, yes, Classified ad on eBay is a good way to go wink

Lots of LEO's out there thensmilesmile I believe the 04 was the only official year of the import of our bikes to England, the rest are grey imports???
