Wellp, my CDI and regulator got busted and my trusty mechanic whipped up this amazing contraption that got my bike running good again biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

What! That is great! Do you have any more details on how it works?

I like the 7 segment display startup animation too.

Not really sure but the thing eliminated the need for a CDI, ignition coil and high tension cable as they are all bundled up into one device. It came from a Toyota Vios. aww

 

Ohh you mean the voltmeter? It's really useful 'cause I can tell right away if there's a problem with the charging system which has been plaguing my bike ever since. no

I would assume the 3 wires into the cap are... power / earth / signal...
but where dose the advance curve come from... built into the cap if so
is it 100% correct for the TTR...

So meany questions....

Ah yes the Koso EVO 30mm carb. It's pretty awesome.


Hmm I don't know about the advance curve and stuff though he did try a couple different CDI's and probably tweaked with the timing quite a bit before getting good results. :D
