Seat cover and original graphics.

hi everyone. I was recently looking into replacing my torn seat cover and badly damaged graphics. I can't find the original seat cover(the one that has TT-R printed on it) or the original graphics. The bike is a 1999. Does anybody have any of these parts or know where I could find them.

I believe that the graphics for the tank would work but they arent the correct design and they are for the older white ttr,s. In addition to the tank and side cover graphics does anyone have the 250 emblems? I can't seem to find them anywhere. also I want to remove my graphics all together until I get new ones. Is this a bad idea(will I cause any"damage" to the plastics where the graphics should be) or will it be fine?

D&D Graphics offer a "Standard" set of tank graphics - see http://ddgraphics.co.uk/index.php?route=product/category&path=2_10

and http://ddgraphics.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=2_10&product_id=126

It would be worth contacting D&D about the possibility of getting a 250 side panel sticker made.

Seat cover - a few on here have YAMAHA on them but not TT-R. Looking at the new genuine TTR250 complete seat, that cover now has YAMAHA printed on it and not TT_R.

It won't damage the plastics to leave the decals off except that the panels will be unprotected if you ride through thorns or rub them with wet gritty riding trousers!

Also, if you are thinking of getting special decals made so that you have a 100% match to your originals you may want to keep the old ones as patterns for size, shape and colour.

I will definitely be getting that set of graphics and the seat cover, does anyone know a good company where I can get the 250 decals made?

If you are buying the graphics from D&D then contact them at the same time to ask about the 250 stickers - contact details on their website. Karl Barker is the CEO and a very helpful guy - also a trail rider wink

Hi,

I'd certainly be keen on 4 of the 250 Side Cover Decals (Genuine Part Number 4PX-21781-00) so long as they were copies of the originals.

Genuine ones are No Longer Available from Yamaha Japan.

Might be something that Steve would consider stocking in the Shop

Cheers

Jeff

Thanx Honda15i but I'm only interested in the original "250" decals (or accurate copies of) from the Side Covers as I already have D&D graphics on the Tank.

When I bought the D&D Graphics Kit it came with a bunch of other decals like ones for the Swing Arm and Front Guard. It was a good buy.

I'm abit off a "Decal Tragic."

Cheers

Jeff

Wow - that's cheap!  Looks like the top set have the D&D logo on so either the seller has a cracking deal with D^&D or they are a knock-off copy.

What sort of quality are the decals pleas, particularly the tank ones?
