mine on idle or high revs makes up to 13.5v.

i tried changing rectifier with no change i.e. v doesnt increase.

i measured between connected battery terminals.

On my other biked I looked for voltage was higher than 14v on idle.

According to the manual, charging voltage should be 13.0 to 15.0V at 3,000 rpm (tested using a fully charged battery) so your TTR is within spec.

Is there a problem with the bike that makes you think it has a charging issue?

I could not start the bike of low voltage. I was running last time without issue. Then i left for a week.
So my thoughs were
old battery i fully charged it and left for a week or so. It is holding the voltage.
So, moved on rectifier change. I replace it from my other ttr but got the results
So, next peace im thinking to change alternator

Had my mate Rich around last week, his stator wires got broke and touched together, not sure why but it fried the pickup.

Replaced the stator and all good.

In that case, it could be the digital speedo draining the battery. I had one do that back along. It would take a while but after about a week the battery would be dead flat. The speedo is on the battery side of the ignition switch so is still connected when the ignition switch is off.

The way I got around the problem was to extend the lead from the battery to allow me to put in an accessible connector which I disconnected when parking up.

Some useful tips in this thread - http://ttr250.activeboard.com/t56495231/battery/ - about checking the battery voltage when turning the engine over.

Brian

PS I was sceptical about the stator and rec/reg so also fitted a SparkBright Monsoons battery voltage monitor - see http://ttr250.activeboard.com/t57639742/sparkbright-monsoon-waterproof-battery-voltage-monitor/

PPS These photos show my quick fix connector which don't cut into the original loom and can easily be removed if required:
