Carb questions

I have three questions about my carb

1. Should it leak gas if the bike is on its side?

2. Should it stay running when it's on it's side?

3.  When I do a coldstart should the bike cut out whenever I blip the throttle

thanks.

As above haha.

Is the float height set correctly? And are the gaskets all ok? Might be letting fuel leak out the overflow if set incorrectly

Yep check float hight check the floats haven't sunk clean and if nessisary change float needle and seat reset hight and pop back on.
Si

Also I'm hoping when you say on its side you mean on sidestand otherwise yes it will leak and not run...😂

Glad you clarified that Black8driver. I read it to mean fallen over on its side (As mine often is 😢) and mine leaks and stops running. I was getting concerned.

I was wondering if it fell on its Side( laying on its side) if the carb should leak. I've heard that it shouldnt leak gas but is it normal for it to leak and stop running if it's laying on the ground? I know it's a stupid question but I've had conflicting awnsers. Thanks.

If the bike is on its side it is possible it will leak fuel, because fuel will flow out the overflow pipe in the carb. May or may not stop running, depending on if the carb is still supplying fuel to it.
