Hey everyone,

Just got my very first first motorbike a couple days ago, '97 Open Enduro.

I have been looking at servicing info here  http://www.ttr250.com/Servicing_the_TTR250.htm   and want some help with exactly what "bleeding the carburettor" means???

I tried to find some info in the carby section of the forums but havent had any luck.

Thanks

Hi Ben and welcome to the forum!

The author of the servicing document means that you should loosen the drain screw at the bottom of the carb float bowl to drain the fuel. I will amend it to make it clearer wink

Be very careful when doing this that you have a really good fitting screwdriver and try and hold the carb so that you can put some pressure on the screwdriver as these suckers can be tight and have been known to round out  cry
