Hi from another TTR newbie

Hi Everyone,

I fancied a four stroke trail/dirt bike and being a Yamaha fan, it had to be a TTR! I picked up my 2000 reg. project in the autumn as a winter project. It had had a hard life bless it and is taking quite a bit of my time and money but we are getting there!

First stage is to get it to mot standard and tidied slightly after having rebuilt the engine! I'm hoping to get some use out of it this year and next winter's second stage will be a total strip and powder coat the frame etc.

In the strict meaning of the word the answer would be no, I'm a born and bred Yorkshireman.

In 1970 I married a Geordie lass so after a couple of years we had to up sticks.

I got a job with Peterlee Development Corporation in Shotton Hall.

I and Mrs Cubber moved to an end terrace box in Quantock Place

The powers that be put pitched roofs on them after a lot of persuasion. bleh

After a few years we moved into Durham proper to a place called Tanfield - and in 2010 we moved to Budleigh Salterton.

You could say we've sprint.gif moved around a bit.

Wow, quick life history Martyn, excellent!

I went to school at Shotton Hall Comp, originally from Haswell, I now live at Easington, just outside Peterlee, so I haven't ventured far! ha ha.

Cracking pic of your Triumph and a period Peterlee House with ducted heating and flat roof!

Best wishes,

Kingsley
