Early Christmas present and Bunyip ride
Permalink

My Christmas present from the wife arrived the other day.  It was supposed to go under the tree but didn't quite make it.

B&B bashplate looks good and seems well made.

Also a couple of pics of  a recent ride in Bunyip state forest in Victoria.

There had been a bit (alot) of rain the previous week.

Nice, B&B make good gear.
Those tracks are cut up. Good to see you checking the depth of those bigger puddles.
I've seen bikes go completely underwater, handlebars and all.
There's a couple of big ones near me in the Wombat State forest I know of that are over 6 feet deep, the 4WD's get stuck in them.
I try and go around and not wheelie over them. Would ruin a good day out.

Well im glad i checked those puddles, the one im checking there was well over waist deep at one point and the others similar. We ended up skirting around to the left. Slushy but only about a foot and a half deep.
