OK, having spent loads of cash on my TTR and converting it to supermoto to use for getting to my fire station when I'm called out (retained fire fighter), I've decided that I'd probably kill myself trying to overtake a pensioner down the lanes between home and the station
So it's just been sat in the barn waiting to be put back on the road, and I don't use it at all. In fact, since I bought it, I've only ridden it twice
V5c says it was first registered in 1998, and first registered in the UK in 2007.
So, it has
New rear link kit from totally TTRs with all new bushes
Replacement (good) rear shock
New shock bushes
New chain and both sprockets
Oil and filter change
Kawasaki headlight unit with a glass headlight and an H4 night breaker
Longer front brake pipe, and refurbished front caliper (again from totally, in fact most of the stuff came from totally)
LED indicators
Modified YZF silencer
WR 125 wheels with Excel rims. Front rebuilt onto a TTR hub to get the correct disk and spacings, Virtually new Conti Trail attack tyres
12oclockLabs SpeedoDRD to convert speedo to MPH (speed needs calibrating)
If I get the asking price it will also come with the original purple wheels in good nick with legal tyres, original headlamp unit (not that you'd want to fit it), and original indicators, plus a Brembo front brake set up (lever, Master cylinder and caliper) all connected up, which I was going to modify and try to fit.
It has MOT until 20 sept 2018. the MOT I got with it (which ran out in January 2015 which shows how long it is since it was last ridden) had an advisory on it for "mileage not displayed" but in mileage history the last reading was 14249 in 2012. The milometer currently reads 26780 km (as shown in the picture and on the current MOT)which equates to about 16700 miles, so I suspect that the 14249 is miles not Km although it doesn't say that on the MOT.
Bad bits
When I stripped it down to fit the new rear end, I wire brushed the frame and painted it in black hammerite, and it really wants completely stripping and re-painting properly.
there is an off side passnger footpeg, but I had to butcher the bolt to get it off when I painted the
If I was keeping it, I'd replace the rear spokes with some new ones (WR wheel that is) as they are pretty nasty compared to the new ones in the front wheel.
The spoke lines in the re-built front wheel aren't perfect due to the TTR hub being a slightly different size to the WR hub, but it doesn't affect the wheel, and you probably wouldn't have noticed straight away if I hadn't mentioned it.
If you wanted the rear wheel re-building with new spokes I'd do it for you for the cost of the spokes and 25 quid to cover my time, as I do build wheels for a local shop anyway.
The SpeedoDRD needs calibrating as I said before. (the instructions will come with it)
That's about it, so I'm looking for 1200 quid. If you want more photos, or want to look at it, or talk, let me know on here. I'm not in a massive rush to sell, as it's not in my way or anything, but it would be good for someone who would use it to have it.
So here is the speedo picture. The little box below it is a rev counter/hrs run meter, which I fitted. revs work fine too

Hello Wheelman. Really interested in your TTR. Currently selling a TT600RE as I need to downsize, Dr's orders! Your bike looks like an ideal replacement. Funds ready! Please get in touch. Thank you.
That TTR is incredible value for money - I would go for it myself but Mrs TTR is keeping a careful eye on me to make sure I don't fall into old habits and start accumulating TTRs again
He says, at the end of his post, that he's in ........
Martyn
Thanks Martyn, blimey I've read the ad about half a dozen times - didn't expect it to be hidden waaaay down there - think I should've gone to specsavers!
Typically for me (being useless at selling things), I have failed to actually monitor my post, and for that I really apologise My Dad's been poorly, so I've been a bit pre-occupied.
anyway, it seems that Stringy has bought a bike from someone else, and Elmer considers it too far away from him, so......
It is still for sale. Promise I'll check in once a week from now on
Hi Mike, I have left a contact mobile number on your profile whiteboard. Could you please contact me ref the sale of your bike. I am keen to discuss with you.

Apologies for not getting back to you, but as you may have realised I have a lot going on with my dad right now. He's 94, and I've been sorting out his move from the house he lived in for 35 odd years to a house next to mine. Amazing what gets hoarded over that length of time
Will try and respond/call you after the weekend for a chat.
Hi Wheelman, yeah I would be interested in talking to you about the bike if its still available. I'm a new member but I've just dropped you a PM with my contact details too.

Giving this oone last bump before I put it on the bay of evil. It's a nice little bike, and it's a shame for it to sit here in my workshop when someone could be enjoying it
