Folks,
I have made a silly error: I have lost the ball bearing from the end of the clutch rod.
Does anyone know the diameter of the ball please?
thanks,
MG

Welcome to the TTR land, Matti.
It's rotten when you lose your balls isn't it?
You wouldn't by any chance have a silver 1200 Bandit would you?

Hi Martin,
Losing one ball is bad... not having a road bike is worse. Not me with a Silver Bandit.
Cheers
Ah, then THIS isn't yours then.
I Googled and came up with the wrong answer - it often happens.
I was thinking that it's unusual to loose the ball from the clutch rod adjuster, UNLESS you've been having a problem.
If you have a problem then this is the best place to find the answer.
Thankyou Brian.
Thanks for the very prompt reply.
i'm hopeful of getting one today from a local bearing supplier.
Kind regards,
The alloy support around the gear selector pin had broken. I took off the clutch basket and then took the bike to get the alloy support welded.
Somewhere on the journey. The ball bearing escaped. Stupid mistake... I know there is a bb in the hole but I overlooked it.
As soon as I get a new one, I can rebuild and get it road tested.
I took the Silver Bandit photos to help a mate sell his bike.... a lot of years ago.
