My own experience of measuring small O rings is that I can't.....
I get such a variance of measurements and the smaller the O ring the bigger the problem
When trying to source after-market O rings to match the TTR originals for the Totally TTRs' shop, I used to send the best example of the O ring I could find to Polymax and let them do the matching.
Otherwise I have a "selection box" of O rings and try and find a physical match from there.
My guess is that every car or motorcycle workshop will have such a box and could match the O ring for you - else try a seal & bearing shop. That's if no-one else comes back to you with measurements of course......................
Thank you for the reply. Out of my selection box, I had the right ID, but too small a diameter, so I fitted two. Seems to work, but I would like to correct it.
Success!! I sourced a 3mmx1,5mm oring to replace my McGuyver orings. I now also have the use of my choke back. I will be riding today, so I am interested in seeing what else the leak affected.
