Hey from Victoria Australia
Permalink

Just a quick hello. Bought a 2007 TTR 250 a few months ago (Cant believe 2007 is 10 years old, probably shows my age). Thanks to the forum was able to do a good pre check of the bike before i got it and i think i have a decent unit. Mostly orginal apart from what looks like a trail tech vapor replacement speedo and TK-P pipe (Original still fitted) and Barkbusters.

Have taken it for a couple of decent runs (Bunyip State Park) and all seems good, in fact it was a pleasure to ride. Have done all the basic maintenance so far with assistance of the forum and now have both the owners manual and workshop manual. With all the wealth of information here im pretty confident i can tackle most of the other stuff as well. For all those other tricky and quirky things im sure someone will have experienced it before or have some good clues.

Had DRZ 250 about 15 years ago and have always had road bikes. Great to be back on the dirt and out in the bush again. Looking forward to many years if fun on my TTR.

Welcome to the TTR forum, Cam.

You join a certain throng of Australian TTRers, one of whom I'm certain will be along to welcome you and asking for a ride out.

Before the rest start shouting for pictures, let's all see your bike, please.

Martyn
