Can anyone identify a mysterious pair of forks please?

They are quite a bit taller than TTR forks as you can see from the photos. Also, the axle clamp  and brake caliper are quite different.

The only bikes I have ever broken for spares have been TTRs so these came off one a few years ago so I know they will fit but I wonder why the owner fitted them and what bike they originally came from.

Can anyone help please?

Turns out they are from a 1988 Yamaha YZ250 so they will soon be on eBay now I know biggrinbiggrin

And I can say they fit a TTR wink

Your hidden sleuth is very good, Brian.

As you asked, "How did he find that info out?"  confuse

I'm still looking at Google pictures of bike bits.
