Gearing for Steep terrain.

Hi there has anyone got a recommend gearing for the steep hills of wales? I need a new sprocket set and chain anyway and since I've entered into the taffy dakar its a good time to upgrade.

Also it'd be nice to be able to just swap the front sprocket out for for a larger one when i get home to the flat Northamptonshire lanes.

Any advise is welcome, thanks

Dan

13/48 for me Dan. Find it low enough for the steepest hills I can get up. Can still fit 14 on the front pretty easily.
