So I went to change my oil today and when I went to drain my oil and there was only a few drops of oil That came out. Filled it up and cranked it up and it is running good no unusual noises. I rode it around and it ran fine. Pulled back to the house and it was squirting oil from the base of the cylinder. Found a kit to replace the top end gaskets. i wanna go ahead and throw a new piston in and was wondering if there was a way to hone the cylinder without a brush.

Hilarious!
The only way two hone the bore is with a "dangleberry" brush or one of those sprung stone things (the latter being better because they create a flat surface rather than just roughing up whatever surface ovality/imperfection there already is).
Most engine workshops will do it for a few bucks if they're not busy - save you the effort and cost of tools. If you're going to do it yourself there are several good youtube tutorials that teach the proper technique, but you really want to practice on an old barrel first.
If you're only honing and the piston is in ok condition, reuse it and just put in a new set of rings and save the cash for gas!
Ride safe,
Simon.
how the hell is he going to get the cross hatch he will never get those deep marks out even with the proper stones or it will be oversize but not at that rpm with a hand drill they must be having a laugh waiting for comments
Awesome. Also I was looking today and noticed there is a small hole behind the spark plug I will get a pic when I get a chance but should I be worried about it? I plan on filling it with some in weld it's up on the side wall not down beside it.
