despite my bike only have 3500km without any high jumps etc. I had this experience yesterday. Are there any one else with the same experience? Ok, granted I way 93kg but seriously image.jpeg

Wow - I have never seen s shock split like that - bad luck!

Also, I haven't heard of it happening to anyone else on the forum confuse

Has anyone else seen such a thing?

That is amazing.

Sweden is a cold region.  Was it frozen by any chance? confuse

93 kg shouldn't be too heavy - it's only just over 14 of our stones. disbelief

Dry and 18* C.... It's not that cold here and we don't have polarbear's on the streetsbiggrin

I suppose I got to search for a "new" shock absorber.

I think it may be a fault in the housing from manufature never seen it before. 

Did see one jam fully down years ago  which mr yamaha replaced with no explanation

All i can say is WTF...For me to buy that part from my local yamaha dealer it's $1500 aud (1000 euro)
Think its time for me to start shopping in Europe now :S

Today I picked up my brand spanking new original rear shock. 2300skr (205£) now I know how to spend my Sunday
