As the title suggests my bike wont hold a charge for the life of it. It'll charge a tiny bit after a long ride and maybe charge it enough to start it once but that's it. goes dead flat. I've taken it to the mechanic and they say there's nothing wrong with the stator and what not and the volt meter is reading the right numbers and they're stumped?
just some random things that might help you guys diagnose my problem - when i press the brake the headlight dims? my 04 ttr doesn't do this - The starter button would have to be held for a couple seconds before anything happened or pressed really hard (this happened before it wouldn't charge) - I've put my 2004 ttr battery in the bike that wont charge much like the original battery and it just seems to drain that battery too (both batteries work in the 04)
Is it a grounding problem or what? it's been irritating me for months sorry if i've been vague but i dont have anymore information to give
