Sunday morning spin Hellidon.

Went for a blast this morning.did the usual Ridgeway lane down to Ufton then I thought I would venture out to pastures new. Went through Southam to Lower Shuckburgh. From there a gated road runs down to a green lane that runs to Hellidon. Would hve been brilliant except one of the gated fields it ran through was full of excitable bulls that were not bothered by me at all. I think they saw me as an oppurtunity to get through the gate to the field of cows I had just past through. Either way being on my own I bottled it and turned back. Did the disused railway from Bascote back to the Fosse.Still cant get over how big some of the holes are back at the Fosse end...They are the only puddles I saw all morning...

No pictures? confuse

Not to worry - I followed the route you described on Memory Map and see you were quite near the Heritage Motor Centre and not far from Silverstone.

Nice neck of the woods even if a tad flat. wink

Are there plenty of interesting lanes for you around there?

Martyn

Never gave the photos a thought..should have took a quick snap when i was stopped at the gates. There are a stack of lanes but I am only starting to discover them.
