It's always difficult drilling holes for the number plate screws in thin plastic flexi plates.
I tried a different approach this morning using a 6mm hollow punch and it worked a treat.
I didn't take photos as I did it as I was too keen to see how effective it was!
However, here is an "after" photo with just the punch and a neat bit of 6mm round plastic from the plate.

Shame they don't put a postcode on their flexi plates to make them appear a bit more "legal"
What's the purpose of these things if they aren't road legal ??

You get away with it 99% of the time. I think you would really need to upset the Old Bill to get a ticket for the flexiplate
Now I See, butt covering by manufacturers, just in case, can't blame them for that
